Progressive Science Initiative
The Progressive Science Initiative is designed to support high levels of student achievement in physics, chemistry and biology. Teachers have free access to lessons, assessments and homework assignments. This one-of-a-kind program also provides the opportunity for current teachers to earn science teacher certification while teaching science lessons in a technology-rich classroom.
Progressive Math Initiative
The Progressive Math Initiative provides math instructional units that lead to algebra proficiency for all middle school students. Fine tune your algebra skills while providing challenging and engaging math instruction for your students. Lessons posted on this website are developed, reviewed and refined by educators participating in PLC's within their schools, and a virtual PLC linking their schools via this site.
County Teacher of the Year
The Center has created a program for county teachers of the year (TOYS) to enhance their leadership skills, network with other TOYS, and share their expertise with other educators throughout the state. Watch the progress of these outstanding educators as they lead school transformation.
Technology Integration Showcase

Summer Institute
The Power of OUR Ideas – Collaboration can lead to higher levels of student achievement. Join your colleagues from around the state at the Professional Development Summer Institute sponsored by the Center and NJEA. Participants will work with other teachers in professional learning communities to share ideas and reflect on new practices. Learn new strategies in your subject specialty and discover the power of collaboration.
