Elvin - is this a website you have been using that you find to work out good? Is there a charge for it? - Melissa

I am finding many incorrect answers in the key PSI Algebra Based Physics - Momentum Presentation Answer Key. Please advise.

Melissa Axelsson • 3 years agologin to reply

Is the file at this link the one you are referring to? https://njctl.org/materials/resources/momentum-presentation-answer-key-1/attachments/

Melissa Axelsson • 3 years agologin to reply

Irving - we have decided to remove these from the website - they weren't being updated as changes were being made to the presentations so they no longer matched up. The answers to the formative assessment questions in the presentations can be found by downloading the PDF file that says "with answers". That file will have a slide that shows the question followed by a slide that shows the answer tab pulled out. - Melissa

Looking at the unit plan for Dynamics, the classwork problems are not all found in the presentation slides and the problems that match in the presentation are out of order. Is this also part of the updated presentation issue? Also is there anywhere the homework problems are fully worked out?

Thank you!!!

Hi, what is the course progression you recommend for physics? After Algebra-based physics, would students then take Trigonometry-based physics? Or would they jump to AP Physics 1? Or could they do either one? Thanks -Kayla

Melissa Axelsson • 2 years, 11 months agologin to reply

Kayla - After Algebra-Based Physics we recommend that students go into AP Physics 1. Algebra-Based Physics and Trig-Based Physics are very similar. - Melissa

Where can I find the spanish versions of the each unit?

Melissa Axelsson • 1 year, 8 months agologin to reply

Heather - it can be found at this link: https://njctl.org/materials/courses/algebra-based-physics-en-espanol/ Melissa

Jesse Feuerborn • 1 year, 7 months agologin to reply

Hello! Is the textbook for algebra based physics available? I cannot find a link to it anywhere. Thanks!

Melissa Axelsson • 1 year, 7 months agologin to reply

Jesse - we do not have a textbook that goes along with our materials. The presentations for each unit are what comprises of the textbook for the course. - Melissa

The download all function does not work. It looks more like an overview of content rather than the actual slides. I am also getting file path name too long errors when extracting.

Audra Crist • 1 year, 6 months agologin to reply

Dear Mannix Shinn, Thank you for your comment. I've made a note for the issue experienced with the Download All button and will bring it to our IT staff's attention. Kind regards, Audra

I noticed in the pacing guide for physics and chemistry these courses are listed as Honors, what changes would you recommend for a non-honors physics course?

Yuriy Zavorotniy • 1 year, 2 months agologin to reply

Samantha, There are a few adjustments that you can make for the regular physics course: 1. Reduce the number of chapter problems and general problems for each section. 2. Select the most important chapters that you will be able to cover during the school year. 3. You can give fewer chapter tests and use more short quizzes. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you. Yuriy

I was trying to donate some amount but could not complete the payment... I am not sure if it is my card or the system. Has anybody else had the same issue?

Melissa Axelsson • 9 months, 1 week agologin to reply

Pavel - we have had other donations come in over the weekend, so maybe it was your internet connection at the time you were trying. - Melissa
